Privacy Policy
Who we are
Stillwall is provided by Xiamen Yiling Information Technology Co., Ltd. (“Yiling Labs”, “we”, “us”). Yiling Labs is our public name; the company name above is our legal entity.

Summary
- No Stillwall account.
- We do not collect your browsing history or the list of websites you visit.
- No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the current version.
- Filter list updates may be downloaded over the network; that download does not include your browsing history.
- Subscriptions are processed by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card number.
- Optional Feedback you submit may include text you type and an optional domain name you attach.
Data we process
1. Data stored on your device
Stillwall stores preferences and protection settings on your device (and, where applicable, in an App Group shared with the Safari extensions), for example:
- Global protection on/off and category toggles (Ads, Privacy, Annoyances, Regional, Pro tools)
- Pro entitlement state as reported by StoreKit
- Site pause decisions made in the Safari extension
- Tap to Block rules you create (on-device only; not cloud-synced in the current version)
We do not use this on-device data to build a cross-site advertising profile.
2. Network requests we make
Stillwall may contact our servers or content delivery infrastructure to:
- Download updated filter lists and configuration needed for blocking
- Deliver app and extension updates via Apple’s systems
These requests use standard HTTPS. They are not used to upload your browsing history.
3. Purchases (Apple)
If you start a free trial or subscribe to Stillwall Pro, payment and subscription status are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. We receive limited subscription status information necessary to unlock Pro features (via StoreKit / Apple’s APIs).
4. Feedback you choose to send
If you use in-app Feedback or Report issue, you may provide:
- A description of the problem
- An optional website domain you attach
- Device, app, and version context needed to understand the report
This data is used only to respond to support requests and improve blocking quality. It is not used for tracking you across apps and websites for advertising. Please do not include sensitive personal data you do not want to send.
5. Data we do not collect
- Browsing history or full URLs of pages you visit (except an optional domain you attach in Feedback)
- Advertising identifiers for third-party ads in our app
- Third-party analytics or crash SDK telemetry in the current version
Safari extensions
Stillwall includes a Content Blocker and a Web Extension for Safari. Blocking happens under Apple’s extension model. Site-level pause and Tap to Block actions are stored on your device to provide those features.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not build advertising profiles from your browsing.
- Stillwall is not a VPN and does not route your general browsing traffic through our servers.
- Stillwall does not block ads inside other apps—only in Safari.
Children
Stillwall is not directed at children under 13 and is not enrolled as a Kids Category app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Retention
- On-device settings remain until you delete the app or reset them.
- Support messages you send are retained as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized.
Your choices
- Turn protection off with the in-app global switch.
- Pause a site in the Safari extension.
- Cancel Stillwall Pro in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Delete the app to remove on-device Stillwall data (subject to iOS backups you control).
International users
If you use Stillwall outside your country of residence, information you send us (for example support email) may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate, with safeguards required by applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this page when appropriate. Continued use of Stillwall after changes means you accept the updated policy.
